Weeks with a newborn baby in the house don’t feel like weeks! Days pass in moment, while nights, well – I’m sure you can imagine!
Monday
We had family visiting, so not much work done. I did manage to get something done for the PWA I’m building for Crosslands. This is being offered to the first batch of students today (Friday), so I’m looking forward to hearing their feedback, and then pressing on with the rest of the build.
Tuesday
Attended a digital marketing workshop as part of a business support package offered by Momentic across York and North Yorkshire.
More family visiting, so not much else achieved.
Wednesday
Caught up with lots of odds and ends in my inbox.
Sleep deprivation and programming are not a good mix. Finding it difficult to get my head in the right space for anything more than the odd jobs.
Moved the Crosslands PWA to its new home (rather than being a subdomain of Hello Technology). Made a few more improvements and fixes in readiness for the launch.
Thursday
Another online course to attend. This time on social media. Always useful to get some input from someone else, even if just to be reminded that I’m on the right track.
Sent a quote out for a new website project. Am waiting to hear back on a few projects at the moment.
Finalised the transfer of a client’s website to the new business owners.
Designed some email footers and a business card.
Friday
Was at my desk early. Managed to get through quite a few small jobs before the day really started.
Then… Whitby Lit Fest meeting, catch-up with Logan, lunch, registering the new baby’s name. Now I’m grinding to halt.
Next week will be better. I hope.
