Think about this. When people buy a t-shirt from Nike, Gymshark, Superdry, Patagonia, The North Face or any other brand, they’re paying actual money to become a walking billboard for someone else’s business.
Why?
Maybe they just like the colour or the fit. Maybe they appreciate the quality. But most likely it’s because they want to associate themselves with whatever that brand stands for.
As a small business owner, people aren’t going to be queuing up to buy your t-shirt. But that shouldn’t stop you from championing your own brand. In reality, you are your brand.

Wearing a t-shirt with my own logo on it gives me opportunities to share what I do, and helps me advertise my business every time I leave the house. It’s a cheap and effective marketing tool, and something any business owner could do to help them have more opportunities to talk about what they do.
