New Office Day #1

Having moved into our new home at the end of July, it’s taken a few more weeks to get our internet connection turned on and the office moved from our old address.  Yesterday was my first full day in the new office, having moved everything in on Monday.  It feels like it’s been a long time coming, and with the ups and downs of this year it’s nice to be starting some new projects in a new office.

Here’s how it looked when we got the keys:

There are still a few finishing touches to apply (mainly sorting out the mess of cables and wires under the desk and sorting out drawers of ‘stuff’ which has accumulated over the years) but it’s a great improvement over my old office.

So if you’ve ever wondered what ‘working from home’ looks like for me, this is it.  And I have to say, I’m still enjoying every minute.
